Our Wisdom Tradition is Hermetic. Named so after the Magus called Hermes Trismegistus. His distilled truth defines our part in performing “The Operation of the Sun”, and it can be found inscribed in what has come to be known as The Emerald Tablet. We also study other esoteric texts from the Western Mystery Schools – The Holy Qabalah, the Tree of Life and The Sacred Tarot.
We study these forms of Ageless Wisdom to come to know ourselves, and by working on ourselves, we learn to understand and apply the vibratory energies that have created the Cosmos and ourselves. While we may begin by studying this “Operation” by ourselves, when we join a Mystery School, we also link to a community of like-minded seekers.
Building a body of Light
We come together, vibrationally and in person, with the shared intention of amplifying our energies and efforts, aided by and able to be used as a channel for those Masters of the Tradition (men and women) who oversee and guide this work, and seek to work with us.
Our deepest dedication is to work with others
in community, so that we may become a channel:
a Body of Light for all humanity.
Our Curriculum
Together we learn to discern, balance and integrate the opposing forces within us and around us. We also learn to see ourselves as reflections of the Divine Archetypes depicted in the keys of the Sacred Tarot. At Builders of the Adytum, we understand that the Tarot is not simply a divination tool. Studied sincerely, it deepens our knowledge of ourselves as we recognise and come to understand the Ageless Wisdom encoded in these visual symbols. Each key speaks a direct and universal language that awakens our latent memory of Who we are.
We also draw on the secret teachings of Israel in the form of the Qabalah and the Tree of Life. We share the knowledge of the paths and branches of this Tree – itself an ancient and trusted map of all the energies of the Cosmos, reflected within us as the microcosmos.
We work with the symbolic language of Sacred Geometry, Number and Archetypal Symbols. And yet the instruction is intensely practical – something to be applied to building this Temple within us.
