Introduction to the Seven Holy Planets
In Part 1 and Part 2, the Moon, Mercury and Venus and then the Sun, Mars and Jupiter were examined as they appear and influence our personality complex. Using these attributes we build our ‘house’ which we show to the world in our everyday endeavours.
In the final part or this series we look at Saturn.

7. Saturn – Binah
Reverend Ann Davies explains that to experience the consciousness of Binah requires the crossing of the abyss on the Tree of Life, therefore we will probably not experience this in our lifetime. However, the attributes of Saturn and its energies are, like the preceding six planets, ours to utilise. On a Universal level, through Binah the limiting and defining qualities of Saturn are used to bring the cosmic aspects of Deity into manifestation. Likewise, on our personal level, we utilise the energies of Saturn whenever we limit and concentrate so our goals can be bought into manifestation.

Saturn in Mythology
Saturn (Latin: Saturnus Latin pronunciation: [saˈtʊr.nʊs]) is a god in ancient Roman religion, and a character in myth. Saturn is a complex figure because of his multiple associations and long history. He was the first god of the Capitol, known since the most ancient times as Saturnius Mons, and was seen as a god of generation, dissolution, plenty, wealth, agriculture, periodic renewal and liberation. In later developments he came to be also a god of time. His reign was depicted as a Golden Age of plenty and peace. The Temple of Saturn in the Roman Forum housed the state treasury. In December, he was celebrated at what is perhaps the most famous of the Roman festivals, the Saturnalia, a time of feasting, role reversals, free speech, gift-giving and revelry. Saturn the planet and Saturday are both named after the god.
Conclusion to the Seven Holy Planets
We all have the seven holy planets within, and their planetary influence through the Sephiroth cannot be underestimated in their bearing on our energies and inner states of consciousness.
The planetary energies are manifesting through us and are there for our recognition and investigation into our own inner being. The perfect order in the heavens with the planets and their rotations find expression through the smallest details of our lives. Knowledge of that order is fundamental in practical occultism.
What is essential to understand is that all events in the Universe, including those of our own lives, are related so there are links of connection everywhere and no event occurs by itself.
Keeping this concept in mind will aid us in accepting that the reign of law is truly Universal and that nothing happens by chance. The more we can learn about the various influences of the planets and constellations in our environment the more intelligently may we direct the course of our lives. May we realise that all manifestation is orderly.
What is essential to understand is that all events in the Universe, including those of our own lives, are related so there are links of connection everywhere and no event occurs by itself.
Our force and energy is identical with Deity’s force and energy. Study of the planets and constellations will bring us closer to these realisations of reality. We see the effects of these energies on our beautiful planet Earth, our everyday environment and ourselves as spiritual beings. The marvel and majesty and magnificence of our physical bodies and all that resides on planet Earth surely bear such testament of the superconscious levels from which we came. The time, while we are alive and conscious, must become a time of great importance in developing and changing our levels of awareness towards the greater levels in which we live, move and have our being.
The planets which we see in the heavens are within us as part of our psyche and are utilised every day through our mental activities, creative imagination, physical activities, hopes and desires, discrimination and discernment. We are a part of the greater and the greater is a part of the human, animal, plant and mineral existence.
May you work towards a greater realisation of these realities and apply them to yourself and your fellow brothers and sisters.
